Privacy Policy

Effective: May 1, 2026  ·  STAMPT Technologies Inc.
Short version: We collect only what we need to provide the Service. We do not sell your data. We do not share raw financial information with any third party. Ever.
01
What We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, completing identity verification, or contacting us — including name, email address, and government-issued identification submitted for verification purposes.

We collect usage data automatically — including device type, IP address, and how you interact with the Service — to operate and improve it.

Financial verification is conducted through third-party bank verification services. We receive only a verified financial tier classification as output. We do not store raw account numbers, balances, or transaction history.

02
How We Use It

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service — including identity verification, account management, customer support, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

We do not use your personal information to serve third-party advertising. We do not sell your data.

03
How We Share It

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers who help us operate the platform, under confidentiality agreements
  • Legal requirements when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to the same privacy protections
  • With your consent for any other purpose

Businesses on the platform receive only verified credential outputs — a tier classification and identifier. No name, contact information, financial data, or government ID is shared with any business.

04
Biometric & Sensitive Data

Identity verification may involve collection of biometric information, including facial images. This data is processed solely for verification purposes, is not shared with any business on the platform, and is handled in accordance with applicable biometric privacy laws including the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act where applicable.

You may withdraw consent for biometric processing by deleting your account.

05
Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data).

To exercise any right, contact us at support@stampted.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 30 days.

06
Security & Retention

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@stampted.com.

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time subject to legal retention requirements.

07
Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and platform functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking for advertising purposes.

08
Children & International Users

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

The Service is operated by STAMPT Technologies Inc. International users consent to data transfer and processing in accordance with applicable law. European users have rights under GDPR and may contact us at support@stampted.com regarding data processing.

09
Changes & Contact

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
